Florada Modular Katie Childrens Playhouse
Our Florada playhouses are not only attractive and great fun to play with but they are also safe. Because we like to sleep well at night we made sure that we called in the "men in white coats" who tested and certificated each of our childrens playhouses to EN71 (European Toy Safety Standard). This testing was carried out for Florada by a laboratory accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and Notified under EU Regulations as being an approved company. This means that they are suitable and safe for children over 36 months. As you would expect our kids playhouses feature non- opening windows glazed with clear styrene, continuous hinges and chamfered doors, all designed to minimise the chances of small fingers getting squashed. Additionally our outdoor children's playhouses have magnetic catches which keep the door closed without the danger of anyone being locked in by mistake. They are built to a high standard using Scandinavian Redwood Pine shiplap and smooth planed & chamfered interior framing, and come with mineral roofing felt and perspex windows. The Katie Playhouse has a verandah and stable door with letterbox, and measures approx. 7x5, with 12mm thick timber.

Quality Construction
The Modular Playhouses are manufactured with 32 x 32mm framing, and are called modular because they are supplied in separate wide sections for easier handling, and can be erected to suit your requirements by positioning the interchangeable plain or window sections to any layout. Standard models come with 12mm thick shiplap cladding, and fixed perspex windows are supplied as standard.

No Preservative
All playhouses in the Modular range are supplied untreated, ready for you to apply a preservative treatment of your choice.

Doors and Locking System
Stable doors are supplied with a magnetic catch and continuous safety hinge.

Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied in flat-pack form. Only basic tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary. Normally 2 people can usually complete the job in 2-4 hours.
